Pioneer todoroki subwoofer review

got me a todoroki"
its a pioneer subwoofer
200 watts rms
20-150 hz adjustable
inbuilt temp fan
massive amp

ok now
this subwoofer isnt really that bad
it could have a better enclosure and a bigger magnet but it does provide a good balance of deep and rich bass with barely any distortion (until you crank it right up)
it looks really nice.
sounds pretty good
it is based on a sony design (sa-w3000)
has 2 front firing ports and 1 12 inch front firing drriver

Building amplifiers

i am currently setting my self up a task of building my own subwoofer or 2.1 channel amplifier for my computer room.
i might be going for 300 watt toroid transformer for the tda7294 2.1 channel 80 watt x2 plus 160 watt subwoofer amplifier.
with 1 pc aluminium heat sink.,.
Basic parameters:
Power Supply: AC Dual 18-28V

Size: 218x98MM (L*W)

Power: 80W X 2 +160W Subwoofer
subwoofer is made with BTL 2pcs TDA7294
Potentiometer features: low frequency adjustment, subwoofer volume. Left and right channel volume, treble, bass

interesting enough is that it is really cheap!
and thats why im going for it.
dont know what to do once ive finished it.
might run some speakers obviously

DREAM ACOUSTICS SUBWOOFER REVIEW!

ok a product up for review yay!
this product is a dream acoustics d12 powered 12 inch 220 watt subwoofer!.

auto on/off switch
volume
line in and line out
speaker level in and out
220 watts of power
12 inch long throw woofer driver
1 inch voice coil
tuned box
dual rear firing ports

THE REVIEW:
ok,
i tested this sub out on a number of tracks including tron legacy.
i will first of all start off with the clarity.
it is well hmmm not so clear it distorts quite highly, and doesnt go very deep.
the thd isnt very high but distortion is quite high,
i actualy dont think its 220 watts because it should be able to blow up the driver it has.

now onto the internals:
the magnet is only like 2 cms deep.
it looks like more of a vintage magnetic structore.
the amplifier is quite interesting though,
nice toshiba caps etc.
i might use the amplifier and chuck out the rest.
the ports have a high amount of "turbulence" when played.
so yeah.
the box is quite well built
10 mm mdf and not chip board im impressed.
in fact the box is so good i might even re use it.

amplifier:
i haave taken the amplifier out and tested it on a numerous amount of drivers.
it seems more of a class A amplifier.
it just moves to all subsonic signals
even 1 hz it makes the drivers move air.
its definately a keeper amplifier

sound:
so i played a few bass songs:
bass i love you-bassotronics
and a few more
ok the distortion gets alot higher and hearable once you hit around the 30 hz mark.
but the higher notes have a smoother rolloff which is quite suprising
all i have to say is do NOT buy one of these subwoofers they are of LOW quality

Audio its self

being a young music lover, ive stumbled upon some really great products and some not so great products.
but what gets me is there is a huuuge! range of audio/visual equipment out there, but some people just sit in the corner and eat the dust.
places that dont offer any audio advice what so ever astound me because well its just pathetic.
